Women’s Health in Women’s Hands Community Health Centre “is a pro-choice, anti-racist, multilingual, participatory community health centre for women of diverse backgrounds in Metropolitan Toronto and surrounding municipalities. Its mandate emphasizes ensuring excellence in all aspects of quality care with a particular focus on addressing the damaging influence of racism on women's physical and mental health.” Women's Health in Women's Hands conducts research on the effects of racism on the health care of “immigrant and/or refugee women, women with disabilities, young women and older women in Toronto.”
