1. Web sites, Portals and Databases

Aboriginal Canada Portal is sponsored by the Government of Canada. It features a single window to Canadian Aboriginal on-line resources, contacts, information, and government programs and services.

Information Centre on Aboriginal Health (ICAH) is a service provided by the National Aboriginal Health Organization. “ICAH is a database of information on bibliographic and web-based resources, programs and services, health careers, and scholarships and bursaries. The Information Centre on Aboriginal Health (ICAH), is a central database of Aboriginal health information. It is a ‘virtual’ library that provides, wherever possible, links to information that is free on the Internet.”

Onehealth.ca “is a national health portal dedicated to providing information and services to health care professionals working in First Nations communities.” It provides information and resources, news, research and statistics, online tools, discussions and newsletters pertaining to First Nations health and the delivery of health care on reserves.
