Canadian Public Health Association, National Literacy and Health Program is designed to promote awareness among health professionals of the links between
literacy and health, and to develop a national program for literacy and health research. It
is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) for the
project as a whole, and by three Institutes of the Canadian Institutes for Health Research
(CIHR) for workshops and research projects. It contains full-text reports on literacy in
Canada.
